Andrew and Cathy's reception in church - view from the balconyThe happy couple!

Andrew and Cathy Fordyce were married at St Jude’s church, Southsea. Because they had the reception in the church, they were able to have their wedding when they wanted, without having to wait up to two years for a wedding reception venue to become available.

Cathy was a delighted to find that it turned out to be an unusual and very beautiful reception venue that met all their needs.

She said: “The biggest advantage was being able to source our own caterers. People from the congregation helped re-organise the church interior while photos were taken.

"When everyone came back into the church, it was beautifully laid out for the guests’ meal and a space was left on a stand near the altar for a band to play.”
