Anniversaries

Anniversaries are special times in your marriage which deserve a celebration.

Couples will often mark their anniversary by going out or even throwing a party.

Your church would like to be part of your celebrations too, by thinking of you and praying for you at these milestones. Ask your Vicar if your local church would pray for you, whether or not you married there. Why not pray for yourselves too? In a moment of quiet, you might like to light a candle together and read these short anniversary prayers.

Prayers taken from ‘Pocket Prayers for Marriage’, compiled by Andrew and Pippa Body.
