You can marry on any day of the week

Providing the church and Vicar are free, you can marry in church on any day of the week.

Sunday is the second most popular day after Saturday for weddings. Some people choose a different day to save costs, for others it's for convenience.

Holby City actor and Strictly Come Dancing winner Tom Chambers married Clare on a Sunday at Repton School Chapel, Derbyshire, in October 2008.
